Hello! My name is Leonardo Mantovani, and I recently had the pleasure of playing your game. I absolutely loved the experience — the gameplay, the dark atmosphere, and the story truly captivated me.
As a professional translator with experience in game localization, I would be thrilled to help bring Quiet West to Brazilian Portuguese. I’m certain that many Brazilian players would love the game, especially if they could experience it in their native language.
If you’re interested, I’d be happy to discuss the project further and provide more details about my work. I look forward to hearing from you!
I love it! The dark feeling to this game is amazing, plus the endings especially the True Ending made me gasped. I would hundred percent recommend this.-
Well, I'll tell ya what—I'm downright tickled to see a comment from someone who played the whole darn game through! For me as the fella who made it, that's sweeter than honey on a hot biscuit. Much obliged, partner )
your game looks really cool! 😊 I'm the leader of a small bundle community where we occasionally put together game bundles, and it's that time again!
Your game would be a perfect fit for our current collection, so I wanted to reach out and ask if you'd like to join us. If you're interested, you can submit your game directly here: https://itch.io/jam/urb2015. I'd truly appreciate it if you'd consider participating!
Please make a game like this but where we're the woman and we can rizz up this lovely cowboy (I'm kinda joking but you make such nice characters. I just wanna hug em and kiss em...only the cowboy though)
The map was a bit odd to navigate. Especially odd to get to the flower as it requires going up when the map makes it look left or down. Also weird that many times backtracking leads to a completely different location (e.g. if you're standing at the sherrif's house, then go down, then go up, you do not end up back at the sherrif's house, instead you end up at the tavern.) I wish there was a map for the town area but here's a map I made to help me
its definitely interesting and the art is exemplar, but can someone explain what the shovel is for? I assume for the graves, but i cant seem to get there so idk. Also, is it possible to save your family or no? the existence of a "true" ending implies other endings so what are those?
"Quiet West: Butcher noose" delivers a dark and atmospheric adventure set in a gritty Wild West world. I really enjoyed its free-roaming map and the way NPCs react to your every move—makes it feel alive. The sullen, silent cowboy protagonist and the intense storyline add plenty of depth, even if the plot takes some unexpected turns. Plus, the game’s dark, horror-inflected vibe and smooth retro visuals really set it apart. It's a short experience, but its unique blend of exploration, immersive narrative, and reactive world definitely makes it a standout indie title.
You can distract the sheriff by committing a crime; he'll spend some time looking for you, and that's exactly when you can seize the opportunity and try to enter the sheriff's building.
It was a good experience. I haven't enjoyed such a short game in a long time. It was very interesting to play and discover the ending. Some pretty interesting points were raised. I am very glad!
It's a pretty weird game. It is made in ren'py, but has nothing in common with other visual novels. This is amazing!
What I liked about this game: 1. The novelty of the gameplay. You have to walk around the locations and look for more and more new ways of passing. 2. Characters react to almost everything you do. I somehow picked up the key and began to threaten one character. He laughed at me and sent me to hell. He wasn't as bold when I picked up the gun. 3. After getting the revolver, the game changes. Even the music and the appearance of the character! You start to feel like the most important person in the whole fucking wild west.
There are other cool things, but I don't want to spoil them, because they are related to the plot.
What I didn't like about the game: 1. Map! When you go to the east, and then want to go back to the west, then you end up in a completely different place! You don't understand anything almost all the time you spend in this game. Only a miracle can help you remember everything and go where you need to go, and not where the game leads you. 2. The plot is too deep. After playing through this game, I did not understand the ending at all. What the hell happened there? Why did everything suddenly become psychedelic? Though maybe I'm just being dumb...

The game already has a map :)
you just need to find it
Could you tell me where? I found the map for the lower portion but I never could find one for the upper portion
I made a video about the true ending, it also shows where the map is.
But if you don’t want to watch the video, you can find the map if you look at the house and head to the right.
:)

Maybe

(Version 1.5)
Guide to the True Ending (This is not a walkthrough)
For those who encountered difficulties in achieving the TRUE ENDING
How do you distract the sheriff
Try making a little "noise" in town :)
Awesome game, would use to procrastinate again.
Glad you liked the game! This is my first experience with games of this genre. :)

(Version 1.1)
where the fuck is the gun
The revolver is in the sheriff's house; the sheriff needs to be distracted somehow.
How
You can distract the sheriff by committing a crime; he'll spend some time looking for you, and that's exactly when you can seize the opportunity and try to enter the sheriff's building.
don't think that the map is accessible.
You're right, the map is not suitable for blind people, but the game tags don't say "Game for blind people." Unfortunately :(
but, are all buttons labelled for that to work?
are your games blind accessible?
I think it's possible to play through the game blind to some extent. This is a quest with text, every renpy game has a bot that speaks the text
Its cool to see after the last game cowboy theme only grown with developers ambitions anb become something unique. I wish developer all the best
Thank you! I'm glad to see someone following my work. I'll keep striving to do my best.
